Small randomized trials found improvements: in a 2007 trial of 76 people, wrinkles improved about 26–36% vs baseline after 4 weeks of twice-weekly sessions, with no change in the sham group. A 2025 home-mask trial was funded by the maker.
Trial schedules ranged from twice a week for 4 weeks to regular home use over 16 weeks. In a 2025 trial of 95 women, 3 sessions a week were no better than 2. Follow your device instructions.
